Tong Ren at 9th Annual Integrative Nursing Conference

The volunteers and tappers of our Tong Ren community participated in the 9th Annual Integrative Nursing Conference held at Lombardo’s, in Randolph, MA on May 10. There were 280 nurses who traveled from near and far to indulge their minds, bodies, and spirits at the conference. Many attendees remembered Tong Ren from the previous year and there were also many new faces. Nurses approached the Tong Ren representatives, exclaiming that the Tong Ren treatments that we provided at last year’s conference were still keeping them...

Tong Ren Making Waves in Magnolia, MA

The wonderful folks at Ayurveda Wellness Healing in Magnolia, MA welcomed Tom to speak at their healing center, where he gave a brief introduction of Tong Ren and conducted a Guinea Pig class. Although it was a rainy Monday night, nearly 50 people gathered together in this peaceful space. Some attendees were familiar faces from the center, while others were first-timers with curious minds and open hearts. Some attendees were even longtime practitioners and patients who have been involved in the Tong Ren community for...

Tong Ren Italy Shares Success Stories

Below is an email from Angelo to Tom and other Tong Ren practitioners sharing recent success stories from Italy. Angelo is a Tong Ren practitioner and patient in the Quincy office and also the Italian liaison who visits the Italian Tong Ren group in Italy multiple times a year to share new machinery and research to the group. Hello Tom, et all! Friday the 12th, I was able to take a jump from my town to Florence to deliver the latest and greatest, but not...

Chuck Christian’s Path to Healing Prostate Cancer and Becoming a Tong Ren Practitioner

My name is Chuck Christian, I played football for the University of Michigan from 1977-81 Rose Bowl. After being exposed to the coaching of Bo Schembechler for 4 years, I believed that I could do anything. I felt invincible. Bo’s motto was, “Those who stay will be Champions.” I carried that mindset throughout my life and it helped me be successful. Almost 3 years ago, I faced a foe that was far more intimidating than an OSU linebacker. It was cancer.  My wife, a nursing...

Dear Tom. Thank You. Joyce.

Dear Tom.
Thank you for helping me become an improved version of myself. These last 15 months have been an amazing journey of healing and transformation. I experienced the spectrum of Tong Ren Therapy of acupuncture, Tui Na, general and anti-cancer healing classes, and the various ultrasound wave healing devices. I am learning more than I can say. I am feeling better than I thought possible. I am grateful to you and the Tong Ren community.

Baby Rowan’s Path to Healing Pediatric Cancer

I first attended Tong Ren at the suggestion of the director of Lucy’s Love Bus — an organization that provides funding for complementary therapies for pediatric cancer patients. My son, Rowan, was diagnosed with intermediate risk neuroblastoma in July of 2018 and while he had a partial response to chemotherapy treatment and had had surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible, there were still portions of the tumor left behind on his major blood vessels and in his spine. The plan was...

Inspiration and Hope. A Journey To Wellness

I began going to The Tam Center For Healing two years ago after being diagnosed with several chronic and debilitating health conditions. I was mostly bedridden and unable to work. I was taking ten prescription medications that were not improving or stabilizing my health. That’s when I decided to go to the Tam Center. Tom Tam and his team of healers identified blockages, or areas of tension, along my spine that corresponded with my range of ailments. By gradually opening, or releasing, those blockages I...

Healing Update – From Debilitation To Hope

I just wanted to share how amazing Tong Ren has been for me. I have a rare condition called Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension and have been debilitated by it for 1 1/2 years. The condition causes excess cerebrospinal fluid to build up and cause symptoms similar to a brain tumor- nausea, vomiting, dizziness/vertigo, vision disturbance/loss, cognitive problems/memory loss and severe constant headache. Doctors do not know what causes it or how to reliably treat it. A few weeks ago Tom had the group tap for scoliosis...
